ZEROBASEONE Earns Praise For Their Live Vocals In “Phonecert” Cover—And Their Vocal Line Wasn’t Even Complete

On July 1, the first part of the group’s appearance on YouTube channel Diggle was released.

It focused on the interview of members Sung Han Bin, Ricky, Gyuvin, and Gunwook.

Towards the end of the episode, the boys decided to serenade ZEROSE, their fanbase, with the song “Phonecert” by 10cm. Host Jonathan also joined the fun.

Fans and non-fans alike were quick to praise ZEROBASEONE on their incredible live vocals. The consensus was that “everyone is so good.”

Many took to Twitter to express their amazement at the group’s smooth voices.

The one who surprised them the most was Ricky who proved that he’s more than a handsome visual.

They also noticed that the members who are already known for being good singers, such as Sung Hanbin and Gunwook, were even better than expected.

The vocal prowess of this unit was doubly surprising considering that some of their top vocalists were not present. Zhang Hao, who sang high notes in Boys Planet performances such as “Kick It” and “TOMBOY,” will still appear in the next episode.

Kim Tae Rae, the member who was dubbed the main vocalist in the final episode, was similarly not in the “Phonecert” performance.

Thus, the skills of Sung Hanbin, Ricky, Gyuvin, and Gunwook were acknowledged.
