Chinese Olympic Diver Goes Viral For Proposing To Teammate
At The Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, at the 3-meter springboard event, Team China diver He Zi won a silver medal. Yet, that’s not all she won.
During her celebration, her boyfriend of six years and teammate, Qin Kai, proposed to her. He shocked her by bending on one knee by the podium and pulling out a box containing an engagement ring.
While this is from a past Olympics, the moment has resurfaced and gone viral again with 5.3M views on X (formerly Twitter) at the time of writing, as netizens remember iconic moments from the Olympics of years gone by.
