Baek A Yeon continues to rule the charts 7 weeks after official release
Seven weeks after Baek A Yeon‘s release of “Shouldn’t Have,” the solo singer has continued to rule the charts despite starting promotions late.As of June 22nd, Baek A Yeon’s track nabbed the number one spot on Melon, Bugs, Olleh, Genie, and Naver‘s weekly digital charts. In addition, the song was number two on Mnet and Soribada, illustrating its immense popularity as of late.
The official lyric music video jumped from 500,000 views to more than 2 million views after her track began to gain momentum in early June. JYP Entertainment announced that the singer would partake in official promotions for the song three weeks after its release because of the song’s unexpected popularity.
Although she was against tough competition, Baek A Yeon beat out the likes of BIGBANG and EXO on the real-time charts and has now proven that her sudden popularity is no joke!
