BlackSwan pays tribute to Sewol tragedy with “A Thousand Winds” cover
For the one year anniversary of the Sewol ferry tragedy, BlackSwan mades a tribute to the students and their families with a cover of Lim Hyung Joo’s “A Thousand Winds.”
As the one year of anniversary of the sinking of the Sewol ferry approaches, many families as well as celebrities are sending their sincere wishes to the families affected.
To pay tribute to the victims of the incident, BlackSwan created a cover of Lim Hyung Joo’s “A Thousand Winds” in remembrance of those who were a part of the tragedy.
In the cover of the heartfelt song, Black Swan sings, “Please do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. I am the swift rush of birds in flight. I am the stars that shine at night.” With words that conform to the situation, the duo’s graceful vocals give a message to the victims of the Sewol tragedy while also giving families a comforting hand.
