DSP Media’s new girl group April confirms debut date

DSP Media has confirmed the debut date for their new girl group April.

On August 6th, DSP Media posted April‘s official teaser and their debut date through their Official SNS.

In the past, DSP Media has released many groups such as Sechs Kies, Fin.K.L, Kara, and Rainbow. April will be DSP Media’s first girl group in seven years after Rainbow.

The members in April are Somin, Chaewon, Hyunjoo, Naeun, Yena, and Jinsol. Their group name is a combination of the letter that means the best (A) and the lovable girls (Prill), therefore the name means the best lovable girls.

According to an official from DSP Media, the members of April follow their sunbaes, with the best visuals and extraordinary singing skills.

Through each member’s teaser videos, handwritten profiles, Starcraft 2 live promotions, and Pikicast’s “Interesting April,” April has been able to show their colorful charms, and therefore has already formed a large fan group.

The members in their official fan club have grown rapidly and each episode of their show has at least 150 thousand views or more. The public has questioned whether April, whom has received a lot of interest, will be a competition for other girl groups in 2015.

Meanwhile, April is constantly preparing for their debut on August 24th.
