G-Friend confesses “Me Gustas Tu” with 2nd mini-album + MV
Rookie girl group G-Friend has returned to the music scene with their second mini-album and music video for their comeback title track, “Me Gustas Tu.”
Earlier this year, the group made their debut with their first mini-album and title track, “Glass Bead.” Member Yerin rose to popularity soon after their debut, and became the fastest rookie to guest on an episode of SBS’s hit variety show, Running Man. She also guest starred in M&D (Super Junior‘s Heechul and TRAX‘s Jungmo)’s music video for “I Wish” and made her acting debut in the web drama, Midnight’s Girl.
On July 23rd, G-Friend made their comeback with the release of their second mini-album, Flower Bud. The album contains a total of six tracks, including the title track and its instrumental version. Other songs on the album include “Intro (Flower Bud),” “Under the Sun,” “ONE,” and “My Buddy.”
The title track is titled “Starting Today, We” in Korean and has “Me Gustas Tu” which means “I Like You” as an alternate name. The track is upbeat and showcases their pure and clear vocals. The music video for the track shows off the members’ youthful charm, as they can be seen dancing around in a wide-open grassy area and playing with water outside a traditional-style Korean home. Their concept for the track is bright and innocent, as the members can be seen wearing both dresses and shorts in variations of blue and white.
