G-Friend sheds tears after taking their first #1 music show trophy on "The Show"

Girl group G-Friend has taken their very first music show win since debuting in January 2015 on the recent broadcast of The Show!

Aired on February 2nd, member Yerin was hosting the show alongside Super Junior-M‘s Zhoumi. G-Friend went up against tough contenders and their seniors Super Junior member Ryeowook and Teen Top, winning with their track “Rough” with 8,044 points over 7,761 and 6,585 points respectively.

Surprised by the news, the members of G-Friend each burst into tears as the members attempted to relay their thanks to their agency and fans. As an MC, Yerin attempted to hold back her tears but wasn’t able to as she continued to cry with Zhoumi smiling beside her.
