“Infinite Challenge” incorporates “King Of Masked Singer” concept upcoming festival preview; IU joins lineup
MBC has released a preview video for next week’s episode of variety show Infinite Challenge, where their biennial song festival will be aired!
The program held their first Infinite Challenge Song Festival in 2007, making this year the 5th time the show is producing a singing platform as it only takes place once every two years.
Unlike previous years where the members perform at a concert outdoors, this year they will become judge panelists and invite special guests to sing instead incorporating the King Of Masked Singer concept. Veteran music producers Yoon Jong Shin and Yoo Hee Yeol will also join as panelists.
Since the premiere of MBC program King Of Masked Singer, this show has gained much popularity, giving the opportunity for the audience to appreciate vocal abilities without seeing the singers’ faces and discovering hidden talents of idols and other vocalists.
G-Dragon and Taeyang were already reported to have participated in filming for the song festival, although it is not known if they will be contestants on the show. IU is also reported to be appearing in the same episode, where filming already took place on June 25th.
Episode 435 with Infinite Challenge Song Festival 2015 will air on July 4th starting at 6:25pm KST.
