Red Velvet says love is “Automatic” in pre-release MV
Several days ahead of their album release, SM Entertainment girl group Red Velvet released the music video for their pre-release track “Automatic.”
Taking the same tone as their second set of teasers, the now five-member group starts the video off by sharing a meal in a rather dark room. As with the song, the entire music video takes on a much slower and darker tone than the album name Ice Cream Cake would suggest.
Rather than a somber tone, however, the music video evokes a rather soulful one, and adds a sense of mystery to the upcoming album. As with their matching hair, the girls’ voices blend really well, making for a very relaxing and chill song.
Red Velvet’s first full album Ice Cream Cake and the music video for the title track is set to be released on March 18th. For now, make sure to check out the music video for the pre-release track “Automatic” below!
