What South Korea Is Doing For These North Koreans Will Move You To Tears
A recently developed smartphone application aims to help North Korean defectors ease into South Korean life through the help of a handy translator.
Its promotional video reveals that on average, youth from North Korea could not recognize half of the terms in school textbooks. Due to this, students were neglected in school, leading to a discrepancy not only in education but in the workplace as well.
The video continues to show the friendly interactions between two students as they bond over the application and newly learned terms of each others’ dialects.
